I think she should take a year drop and try next year. Sorry, but she will not get a very good college/university at this rank. Average private colleges will be always available for her. She may get central universities like HNBGU (UTTARAKHAND), NEHU (Shillong), CUH (Haryana). HNBGU has girls quota so chances are there for CSE.

You can hardly find top tier I few (Simsree, Pumba, XIME Bangalore, NIBM Pune, Great Lakes Chennai, IFMR, Bimtech Noida) through May-MAT as this is the last MAT of the session. Better, you try for top tier I with next MAT and make a linkedin/quora profile to have alumni chat to get the exact picture of after placement job stability.

Hi Smilie,
Both UK and Canada are very popular MBA destinations. However due to ongoing issues with the strict UK work permit schemes and acceptance of 1 year Master's degree by India. Do a proper homework if you want to study in UK. In terms of affordability and attractive post study work options Canada is a better bet.
