Hello Nidhi, The NET exam is basically conducted for the selection of lecturer in the university or colleges or for junior fellowship awards. The UGC NET CSIR NET and ICAR NET are conducted for the different field students. The CSIR NET is conducted for the Science stream candidates while Agriculture related candidates can apply for ICAR NET. Other stream candidates can apply for UGC NET which is held for more than 85 subjects. After qualifying the NET the candidates need to find the vacant posts in the relevant and interested institutes and apply for them. The Candidates are eligible to apply for their post-graduation subjects or its related subject only.
