The eligibility criteria for NID entrance exam for BDes/GDPD course admissions states that candidates who have cleared or who will be appearing for their higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examination from any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, etc.) from any recognised board such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or their equivalent can apply for the exam.

You have already completed your PG in engineering. This makes you eligible for seeking admission for Ph.D. But whether to go for this or go for MBA, it's your choice and you only can decide on this. Of course, I would advise you to go by what your heart and soul says. You should do what you like.

First of all, in the animation course, you have to study the tools and software. I would suggest you first complete your class 12th even though for animation, a specific percentage is not required still do your best in class 12th. After that, you can pursue an animation course from any of the institutes.
Regarding the well-settled job: You have to keep doing hard work to stay in the animation industry. You may have to change jobs, keep yourself ready for that too.
