You have scored first class marks in 10th and 12th. The average result does not mean your past can hamper your CAT score. For a really good score in CAT maths won't play a direct role because even if you opted for Science or arts in 12th, calculation remains a part of the reasoning segments. In class 12th, you are required to score a minimum of 75% or you should be in top 20 percentile of the respective board for getting admission in NITs and IITs.
