Statement of purpose will act like a summary about you to the Interviewer. At the time of personal interview the interviewer will ask more questions from SOP. It is essential while applying to an International Job or pursuing higher studies mainly from foreign Universities. Here I believe you want SOP tips for MBA. There are 3 main points that you should cover in your SOP:
1) Why do you want an MBA degree?
2) What are all the reasons that made you to choose MBA?
3) What will you do with your MBA degree?
If you want or if it is asked, then you can specify your skills, strengths and achievements that make you the best candidate to earn this

I don't think you will get any decent college at 65 percentile. I suggest that you appear for CAT again and try to do better.

Hello alok, That is a real good percentile score. Everyone who applies for pgdbm is called for gdpi rounds and den a score total of weightage to all the rounds plus your percentile score decides the list of candidates selected. Perform good in gdpi, you have good chance of getting in with this percentile score.

Whether you want to consider this college or no is left to you. All I can say is that the learning experience and curriculum here at SDMIMD is comparable to any of the premium B schools in India. SDMIMD is also about to get an International accreditation soon which will put SDMIMD on the global map. People with good GPA get placed without any glitches, people with poor GPA are obviously not placed. Average package for 2015 was 5.8 LPA and in 2016 it is considerably more than the previous year, the figures will be revealed in the placement report.
