If you are no more interested in studies then defense forces job as other rank (Non Officer) can be targeted by you. Civil services would require minimum graduation level. Each state has army selection center and many states have Air Force and Navy selection center as well.
You can directly go to the selection center and apply. You will have to appear for physical and written test when called. You can Google “Army Selection Center - (your state name)”, you will get all the details. Same procedure can be followed for IAF and Navy.

No, even IIMs won't reject you if you secure very good percentile in CAT 2016. They are going to praise your dedication and determination towards CAT and you will get extra marks for that. There are people who wasted 2 years for CAT and secured seat in FMS, Delhi. The most competitive college for MBA in India, even higher than IIMs.

Whether you want to consider this college or no is left to you. All I can say is that the learning experience and curriculum here at SDMIMD is comparable to any of the premium B schools in India. SDMIMD is also about to get an International accreditation soon which will put SDMIMD on the global map.
People with good GPA get placed without any glitches, people with poor GPA are obviously not placed.
Average package for 2015 was 5.8 LPA and in 2016 it is considerably more than the previous year, the figures will be revealed in the placement report.
