Its better to go for PCM along with Computer Science, as PCM is also important if you look for graduation in engineering after 12th. If you go for diploma than you will be very limited to computer Science course. In my view, PCMCS is better option.

Yes, you can. But, hope you have filled the form of Thapar University, as last date of form filling is 25th April. So, if you filled the form, then you will be called for counseling. But, if you did not fill the form, then no option is available.

One can't tell with certainty, however, there are 185 seats in total from which 93 seats are for general students. So, a general student with rank under 120 has a good chance of getting SSCBS.
