Thanx @NSJ for your reference. Dear Mr. X, your thinking is entirely wrong. All of us must select an education stream in the same line so that gradually we keep on increasing the knowledge and skills and also the job prospective. If you pursue B.Sc. electronics, it will not take you any where even if you do M.Sc. electronics as well. Similarly, doing M.Sc. comp or MCA after this will not be possible, simply because you will not be able to cope up with PG studies without having done the graduation in the same subject. B.Sc.-biotech followed by M.Sc. biotech will be good as you will develop necessary knowledge & skills for a growing biotechnology career. Again, doing B.Sc. computer will not help. Rather you may think of BCA, MCA, NIIT route for a good career in software, equivalent to B.Tech.
Having discussed in detail, I will advice you to decide on the line of education based on your aptitude and interest. But remember, at this point of time, what you think as interest may not be so in future.

Well Faculty, Course Material, Quality Education, Fees, Accreditation, Infrastructure and most important Success Rate are the factors that define a good and reputed institute.
So consider the above parameters and then take a wise decision after thorough discussion with your peer group, family and faculty at college.
As far as your query is concerned, for the placements, I would say that whichever college you may opt for, apart from the assistance from the placement team you need to make your own efforts as no institute can guarantee you that as it entirely depends on your capabilities and utilization of skills at the right time.
