No, normally it's not required but some colleges take there they have Maths as a subject but if you can secure marks with remaining subjects then you can get an admission but several colleges and universities also give you liberty to opt for the course without having Maths.

Hey dear, ICET Entrance exam is basically for andra pradesh if am not wrong. so you have to apear for one entrance exam which is applicable in our exam. You can check for the updates based on the ranking for any particular given year. When you talk about a good college, I would recommend you to also include factors such as what course you want to do, if your emphasis is excellent job offer immediately or go for higher studies, scholarships and student finance support etc. Based on all these and priority of factors, decide which college out of the available lot.

Since you have very less percentage in intermediate, it is very hard for you to get a seat in B.Tech . I suggest you to get a seat in a good college through management quota if you can afford a huge amount for the seat. All the best.
