Dear Akansha, The eligibility criteria to take admission in Poornima University is that you should have more than 50% in your 12th Standard. If you have 50% in 12th standard, you are eligible to take admission in Poornima University. To take admission, you have to fill a admission form that is available on our website that is www.poornima.edu.in. Just Fill that form and you will get the admission as far as seats are vacant.

To take admission in Merchant Navy, you need to pass 12th in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) with 1 year pre-sea training as a deck cadet.
You can also join it directly after B.Tech in marine engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronics & telecommunication, naval architect.
If you pursue B.Sc (Nautical Science) in the officer cadre, it will lead you to become captain after 5-7 years of experience.
