Event management is the application of the management practice of project management to the creation and development of festivals and events. Event Management involves studying the intricacies of the brand, identifying the target audience, devising the event concept, planning the logistics and coordinating the technical aspects before actually executing the modalities of the proposed event.

Study includes organizational skills, technical knowledge, P.R., marketing, advertising, catering, logistics, decor, glamour identity, human relations, study of law and licenses, risk management, budgeting, study of allied industries like television, other media and several other areas.
Basic eligibility criteria:
10th, +2 (Higher Secondary students) with any group as the majors can choose Event management as their career.
However eligibility may differ from institute to institute.

The eligibility criteria for the course is fixed by central government, Ministry of Civil Aviation, DGCA. As per the current govt directive, the eligibility criteria for the admission in 2014 is 10+2 with PCM. They haven't mentioned percentage criteria for taking admission this year. Total fees for the AME course is 5,30,000/- INR only, which is divided in easy installments. Your fees includes your registration fees, admission fees, tuition fees, Books, Library fees and Uniform fees. For hostel and Mess, which is optional, you will have to pay INR 4500/- per month for two and half years. The admission is going to close soon as only few seats are available. Our fee for BSc is Rs 45,000/- per semester and MSc is Rs 50,000/- per semester. At the time of admission, student will have to deposit Rs 10,000/- as refundable Security Deposit and Rs 8,500/- for Uniform & Kitchen kit. We have separate boys and Girls Hostel @ Rs 4500/- per month to be paid semester wise. Total Fees will depend upon your choice of the Program.
We take 100 % responsibility of your training as well as final placement in India and Abroad. LBIIHM has 100 % Placement for last 7 years.
