As Shiksha is an Education portal which helps students to choose their career and education related options, I would suggest you to search for the answer on this query through some popular public portal like Google. However, what I feel that it is the symbol of start status a particular Hotel has like 5 star, 4 star etc. every color denotes a star for Example 1 star hotel will have one flag and one would be denoted with a particular color.

If you really wanted to go abroad and study, you can go over to UK for your UG studioes.
Many specilised courses has three year degree courses and then plus one year sandwich courses called hons courses. this means on the fourth year you will be offered a job in what you are studying. This is a very good option for students doing under graduation abroad.
