Darpan.Giving you information about MBA entry requirements in US universities is perhaps the easiest part. It would be moronic to just give you the information you need. But if you are planning to study in USA with the intention of settling there, you must take advice from those who have been living there for many years who can give you a clear picture about the current economic situation. Prospective young Indians planning to study abroad most often overlook this matter and tend to cross the bridge when the river comes. My point is that there is no bridge and river is in high spate. My sister, a green card holder, has been living in US for the past ten years working as a Software Consultant. Her husband, a MBA from Wayne State University, is also a software professional there. They are now planning to emigrate to Canada or UK where I am living due to the severe recession in US that is leaving them with higher taxes and no savings for their children's future. Some people are staying put to weather the storm hoping that the ecnomic conditions might get better in future. There are many educational consultants in this forum who will be keen on giving you the information you need. Some even take the opportunity to advertise the services they offer prospective students planning to study in US. My advice will be irrelevant if you are planning to return back to India to look for a job. But if that is not the case, then common sense has to prevail and I hope it does. I don't mean to discourage you. Give me a thumbs up if you think my advice is appropriate.

In order to pursue Phd in Canada; you need to first of all make a list of universities you aspire for, then send emails to respective course department, asking them to provide you the eligibility criteria and selection procedure for PHD students.
It may take three to six years to complete your PHD, depending on the field you select and your mentor.
The general eligibility criteria for PHD students are as follows :(though it may vary from university to university)
In majority of the institutes, Master's Degree is an essential pre-requisite for a Ph.D. while others admit graduates too.
It is important that you have good scores in common entrance tests such as GRE and English Language examinations like TOEFL.
Internships or other work experience will add to your qualifications.
Ph.D. course work essentially includes research and documentation work. This requires large amounts of money. In addition to this, you have to consider living expenses for the entire duration of the course. The annual expenses of most Ph.D. students are about $28,000-$40,000 per year.I hope this answers your query.

General Admission Requirements
All international applicants must certify that they have adequate financial resources to pay for all expenses while attending Silicon Valley University.
Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate their English proficiency by providing an official score report from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Applicants who have earned a degree from an institute where the language of instruction is English, (e.g. U.S., United Kingdom, and Australia) are exempt from submitting a TOEFL/IELTS score. Depending on a case-by-case basis, applicants may be required to have their English proficiency evaluated when they arrive on campus.
