if you are extremely interested in research, try qualifying GATE and get admission in IITs. The reason I am saying this is because IITs have the best infra and environment to help students in their research work. GATE requires a very good amount of effort. So what should you do now? Focus on the subject you are going to opt for MTech. Clear all concepts, start preparing from GATE perspective.

There are many good and well reputed institutes in the country offering different courses in Animation/ Multimedia field, also as you are keen to pursue Masters as well in this stream, I would advise you to opt for the integrated courses like B.Sc +M.Sc offered in Multimedia and Animation from Kurukshetra University or opting for other well reputed institutes like NID, BIT Jaipur, IDC IIT Mumbai and a few others.
