Whether NITs are better than BITS Pilani is a matter of opinion, and there is no clear consensus on the matter. 2. Global Ranking: Many top IITs, such as IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi, have been ranked in the top 400 universities in the QS world ranking. This further makes IITs more globally recognised than NITs.
3. Government funding: Since IITs are governed by the central government, there is usually equality in funding and support. This ensures better research and curriculum in IITs compared to NITs, which are regulated within the ambit of respective state governments.
4. JEE exam: Since the introduction of JEE, a student needs to qualify for JEE Advanced for IITs, which is the later stage of JEE Mains. The JEE Main rank is sufficient for getting admission to the NITs. As a result, IIT-selected students are portrayed as more intelligent and popular. Furthermore, IITs have better facilities and placements compared to many NITs.

IITs provide a high-grade infrastructure of courses, scope, and faculty members, as well as top-scoring students, compared to NITs. On the other hand, NITs do have batches of diligent and smart students, in comparison to the level of top private colleges. Indian Institute of Technology is definitely one of the most difficult exams to crack. If you start from day 1, things would not be so stressful for you and you can crack the exam. If you wait until last month, things get pretty complicated and stressful. So if you start your studying from day 1, you will score well. First of all, understand your syllabus. Secondly, decide on your study material. Then start giving tests both online and offline. Then practice. Practice is a must. If you don't practice, you'll end up forgetting things, and eventually, you won't be able to write in exams. So keep practicing till the last day.
