Yes ofcourse, GMAT or GRE is necessary. You must also gain substantial years of work experience, around 2-3 years. There is no particular work experience but whatever you do must be relevant to your educational background and future goals. Most importantly you must demonstrate excellent leadership skills, managerial skills, team spirit, etc. through your work experience. You should visit the business school's website and go through the student profiles and the diverse backgrounds they come from. It is good that you are questioning and trying to build your profile from early on.

Canada could be one of the best places for computer sciences, however admissions are challenging. Moreover, you have a three year degree course, which is not widely accepted. If you seriously want to pursue your MS in Canada, enroll into a M.Sc Programme in India and complete the first year with a first class percentage. Apply to Canada thereafter.

For example, if you read Kinematics, I will suggest you to make your fundamentals strong with a standard book or any other means with which you feel comfortable then solve your class 11th questions first and analyze yourself and then refer to the previous year question papers of IIT and try to solve them as well and analyze your solving
