Well, B.Sc Biotechnology is also one amongst the traditional courses, but yes it is definitely a good course. However, when you measure the same with Law it definitely is beyond comparison, as both have different implications on career. However, Law as a course has gained much popularity in the past years, but one should remember that Law needs an interest in a student without which, you won't be able to survive your law school. Also, it is important to follow what interests you more. Only then can you see your career as a settled, and you will be able to make your own ways. You may get civil branch in VIT, Vellore or any other branch in higher categories in VIT. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000, so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well. With each category admission, fees go high. First, category closed till 15,000 rank, and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank, but there are 2nd category as well, if you want CSE, but you have to pay more for that. Hope this helps.

Dear Priyanka,
Both the colleges are good in their own specialisations. What matters is that in which you adapt yourself and adjust easily, go and visit both PGDEM in Mumbai or in Kolkata and the most importantly check which one is in your neighborhood for your easy convenience.

Most of the professional journalism courses can only be pursued after completing 12th standard. 10+2 passed (from any stream- Arts, Commerce or Science) is the minimum educational qualification required to pursue standard journalism courses.
Some institutes are known to offer Diploma courses to 10th passed students though. The quality and validity of such Diploma courses are questionable. Ultimately, such courses are not very useful, when it comes to finding a job using them.
In short, it is better to complete 11th and 12th standards and then pursue a good (and recognized) journalism course.
Regards.
