M.tech is more specific to engineering and will make you an expert in a particular area. There are companies who look for core Mtech graduates for work in industries. The salaries might not be very alluring but the growth pattern is good and steady . MBA is inclined towards the management side. This involves the study of marketing, finance, HR etc which are used for business development. Salaries will be comparatively high if you are graduating from a premium B school . If not then the salaries are average. You have to chose your area of interest and go ahead.

Bsc from a normal college wouldn't matter if you are doing MBA from a premium Bschool. But rarely even the undergrad college also matters in case of Job interviews. Just make sure you score good in undergrad.
