B.Des is a 4-year course and B.Sc is a 3-year course. In 4 years, you get more technical things to learn, and in B.Sc you get fewer skills to learn. For example, if we talk about software, a 4-year course has a higher number of softwares to learn as compared to a 3-year course.

Entrance test is conducted for 90 minutes and is designed to evaluate candidates proficiency in English Language.
There will be three sections for the entrance test.
First section comprises objective model questions of 60 marks.
Second section will be based on a passage of prose or verse and include questions for 20 marks.
Third section includes a short essay model question (based on a general literary topic).
This section also carries 20 to make a total of 100 marks for the whole test.
Admissions are done on the priority basis of marks obtained in the entrance test.

Before appearing in RMAT 2018, students must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria of the exam. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Yes, there is a age criteria for taking admission in regular course of B.Ed. i.e. minimum age is 21 No age restriction for open/distanced education.
