Bannari Amman Institute of Technology commenced Agriculture Engineering course in the year 2015. We have highly qualified, dedicated and motivated faculty and well-equipped laboratories. The Department has a fully mechanized farm and exclusive machinery training center and it has fully modernized Irrigation/Drainage Laboratory, Groundwater Laboratory and GIS Laboratory with the latest Soil Water Modeling Software. To impart the knowledge on crop cultivation aspects from SEED to harvest, the department has a 10 acres farm along with well-equipped soil Science, agriculture metrology and crop husbandry labs. We offer hands-on training for students from first year onwards on the latest agricultural engineering technologies. We provide number of short-term and value added courses with certification, which will be extremely handy for the students to enhance their knowledge in their field and to get placed in the core companies. You can do the B.Ed from IGNOU as you have teaching experience. IGNOU is more desirable for the students of today than any other university. Bachelor of Education or B.Ed. From IGNOU is recognised by the National Council for Teachers Education. It is probably the only university that has a flexible class with the degree that is recognised globally. Eligibility:
Candidates with:
a)at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelors Degree and/or in the Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, and
b) The following categories are eligible to be students of B.Ed. (ODL): (I)Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (ii)Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. The reservation and relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/PWD candidates as per the rules of the Central Government.
