The syllabus for the first year differs from one university to another. Kindly check the website of the university for the same. Mostly, it covers the basics of what you have studied in 11th and 12th standard with a bit of advanced concepts.

You may go for Diploma in Computers like DCA, it will be useful.
If not, then there are various other computer courses like Java application, etc.
But DCA would be a better option to go for.

To get admission to LPU, you need to take the LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test). It is a university-level entrance exam that is required for all candidates who wish to be admitted to any of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by LPU.
The LPUNEST is a computer-based test that is conducted in two parts:
- Part 1: Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability
- Part 2: Subject-specific questions (depending on the course you are applying for)
In addition to the LPUNEST, you can also get admission to LPU based on your JEE Main score or CUET percentile. However,
