It will only help in taking admission in Delhi University and only in undergraduate courses. Except this, any university in India specially in PG courses doesn't offer admission on the behalf of Sports quota. So, it would be better to prepare for CAT, MAT, XAT and GMAT if you want to pursue MBA.

You should get admission in B.Tech and then look for jobs. For Diploma holders, some colleges offer direct admission based on merit and few colleges take written exam. Diploma holders get admission directly to the 2nd year of B.Tech.
After completing B.Tech, you will have number of opportunities and job profile will also be good.
Some good colleges of B.Tech are:
1. IITs.
2. Bengal Institute of Technology – Karnataka.
3. UTM – Shillong.

You need to qualify a test such as GATE/CSIR-NET/ JEST and TIFR /NEST /SLET, etc. If you qualify written, then you'll be called for interview.
