If you could score anywhere around 250, your chances of getting into mechanical engineering, NIT, Tiruchirappalli are pretty high. However, I'd advise you to not settle down on the fixed score of 250. Always try improving on the areas you're weak and strengthen the topics you're good at. Fix a target more around 280-300 and start working towards it now that you have time. Good luck!

If your basic concepts of class 12th subjects are clear then it is enough for IMUCET exam, but you should score above 50 marks in English, according to the eligibility criteria of this exam, or if you want to know more about how to prepare for this exam or how to manage time for this exam then you can join a coaching institute.

Never get confused in studying. Whatever you are studying, have patience and confidence in it. You can definitely clear the course if you have interest and determination to learn. But if you are doing the particular course because you are bound to or no other options then think twice. Opt for a field in which you have interest.
Thanks.
