There is very slight difference, MBA is a degree awarded by University , whereas the PGDM is the degree awarded by an autonomous body.
In india , generally the university cirriculum are controlled by the government and soes not allow it to be revised regularly to keep up with needs of the industry.So students getting MBA from various university loses opportunity without their fault.
Having said that , All university cannot be considered on the same scale, we have FMS affiliated to DU and its one of the best.

Yes there is hostel facility for boys in kengeri campus. You have very good infrastructure too in the hostel.
Yes placements are centralized for whole mba and quality of teaching is also good comparitively.

Looking to previous year's scenario first admission in pumba was 99.7 percentile for MAT score which is considered for all India quota. I guess you will definitely get pumba on your MAT score . Be updated through DTE website for further notification of admission.

Hi Madhavi, firstly admissions for PGDM are conducted based on a number of parameters including CET/CMAT scores, academics of 10th,12th n graduation, your work experience if any and your performance in the Micro presentation and personal interview.
