Yes, you can apply for Government University for undergraduate programs as well as for jobs also after passing 12th from NIOS. NIOS is equivalent to CBSE and ICSE. Hence, you will not get any problem in future and your class 12th is valid for all undergraduate courses. Further, each university have their own cut off marks for admission, however you have to secure at least 50% marks for admission purpose.
