See for getting admission in IIT, Roorkee for B.Tech in Civil Engineering you have to get good marks in the JEE Advance paper only then you can get that not on the basis of Mains paper.

Hi,
With 54% marks, you won't get any good college. First of all you apply for a reappear and if your aim is only getting B.Tech degree you can take admission in Chandigarh University. Last year they were selling seats of B.Tech for Rs.10000. Even the IT companies demand for at least 60% marks in class 12th. All the best for your future.

The basic eligibility is as:
Candidates must have passed an under graduate degree from any institution/university recognized by law in India or, candidates who have diploma in UG design from NIFT/NID only, are eligible or, Candidates who have passed diploma course of three years from NIFT/NID are also eligible.

What do you want to study? For Bachelor's degree, you must take Studienkolleg and clear the exams. German language fluency is a must. For the Master's degree, you must have a very good Bachelor's degree. Overall percentage generally of accepted students is above 90%.
