Please let us know in detail in which field you wish to pursue Phd i.e Management or IT.
If you wish to pursue Phd in management subjects then please remember US universities do not consider distance education MBA degree for admission in Phd program, you need to have full time MBA degree to be eligible to pursue Phd in management subjects from universities in US.
If you wish to pursue Phd in IT field then for that you need need to have masters degree in relevant fields.
Please remember it may take three to six years to complete your PHD, depending on the field you select and your mentor.
The general eligibility criteria for PHD students are as follows:
In majority of the institutes, master's degree is an essential pre-requisite for a Ph.D.
It is important that you have good scores in common entrance tests such as GRE and English Language examinations like TOEFL or IELTS.
Internships or other work experience will add to your qualifications.
Ph.D. course work essentially includes research and documentation work.

1. Teaching- After M.TECH, you may sit for UGC NET and become a lecturer in universities or if school teaching interests you more, then go for B.ED.

Once you apply for CAT, you need to fill forms for all colleges in your consideration separately except for IIMs.
For JBIMS
Admission to this course is done through a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) every year.
The process starts in January and is basically a three tier selection process of
· Common Entrance Test (CAT, CMAT or any other entrance exam accepted by DTE)
· Group Discussion (GD)
· Personal Interview (PI)
CMAT is a multiple-choice objective test evaluating the aptitude of the student in various areas like verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logic, visual reasoning, reading comprehension and data interpretation.
Test is followed by a GD and PI round which carry a significant weightage in the entire selection process.
For WelingkarEligibility
A minimum 50% in graduation, which must be completed by June 2013.
Should have taken CAT conducted by the IIMS for the year specified in the advertisement (IIMS have no role in the Welingkar admission process) and /or/ XAT / and / or ATMA and / or CMAT .

Such jobs are much lucrative when compared with that in India. The aspirants are offered with other amenities and perks also. By working abroad one can have better exposure to work also. Work experience in international firms will be beneficial for one to obtain jobs in top MNC or in other reputed firms outside India.
So now you have two options-
1. Either you work for another 3-4 years in India and then go abroad for exploring employment opportunities there. Also you may pick some management certifications with job which can enhance your career growth.
