Hi Azam,
IAS is a tough Examination and highly competitive, so you need to start working on the preparation of IAS at an early stage.
There are two stages of Examination in civil services which you need to clear to get into civil services: Preliminary & Main. The prelim happens in May of every year and the notification for the test comes in the Nov - Dec of previous Year. For preparation you can either join coaching or do self study, the only thing you need to do is hard work as there is no short cut to hard work. To prepare for Civil Service Examination you need to keep yourself updated on current affairs (read News papers, watch news channels) & work on your language skills (read novels). You should also work on your own core subjects as you need to opt for an optional subject which can be from your own stream. Last but not least you should gain the other Subject knowledge as well which will help you in your General studies Examination.

Assuming that, you are asking about the salary range after Linux certification as a fresher in India. The salary package will be depend on some factors:
1. From which institute you have done Linux courses?
2. For which company and designation you have applied?
3. Your technical skill sets and other factors.
So, I think nobody will be able to suggest you, how much salary you can get. If you want to succeed in terms of growth and salary, you have to move to advanced level of certifications like:
1. Red Hat JBoss.
2. CompTIA and
3. Linux+.

Although there are several Institutes that provide correspondence and Part time programs in Retail Management, but advisable is that you should go for a full time degree program if you want the maximum returns. Correspondence and Part time programs are generally for those working professionals who have good amount of work experience and just want an endorsement of a degree to get to the next level in their current organization, so if you fall in the same criteria then you can opt for Retails Management programs through correspondence.
