Advance preparation really is the key to success.
• Spend as long as possible preparing for the exam. The more familiar you are with exams, the less frightening they seem and the easier they are to complete properly.

Stanley.I have done Bcom, Mcom in India and MBA in UK, and I have been living in UK for the past 19 years years. A Bcom is 100% useless in UK or any other country in the world when applying for jobs. To get into the accounting field in UK, you must have one of the following qualifications.

2. ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
3. ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales)
4. CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.
Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.
But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate.
In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.
The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.
Also you must be citizen of India.
PROCESS BECOME A IPS OFFICER:-
1. Fill up the Application form.
2.Preliminary exam is consist of two papers.
a) General studies -----150 marks
b)From Optional subject -------300 marks
3.If you have qualify in Preliminary exam then you have to go for IPS mains exam
4.After completion of your main exam you have to go for Interview.

Hi Arti, to help you, I would say that M.Tech course is to give a specialized training in the field of engineering. Quite a few institutes intake candidates on the basis of the various entrance exams. M.Tech aspirants can apply for GATE exam as it is an all India test. The test is administered by top technology institutes. Most of the institutes also conduct a personal interview round.
To be eligible, no restrictions in terms of age have been specified by institute. Graduates are allowed to apply for this course. They should have completed B.Tech, MCA or MSc in the any of the areas of engineering with at least 60% marks in the qualifying exam to accept the application.
