UK and US, are the best study destination to pursue MS in computer science and related fields, there are many good and top ranked universities in US and UK, offering course of your interest.
The duration of masters course in UK is 1 year and the duration of masters course is US is 2 years.
Universities in UK and US have 2 admission intakes in a year namely:
Fall(August) intake.
Spring(January) intake.
An average tuition fee of a US university is about US$ 30,000 per-year and average fees at UK universities is around 15,000 pounds per-year, the tuition fee and living expenses might be more or less depending on the university and location.
In order to pursue MS from US and UK, you need to have:
Good academic record preferably 60% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.
GRE score of 1100-1200 plus.
TOEFL score of 80-90 plus or IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus.
Please note GRE score is required by US universities only.

Hi Gaurav, as per you interest I would say that the scope of merchant navy in India is very promising one. The number of ship and cruise are increasing, also private giants are investing crores in ports,and sea trade.There is a boom in this sector with handsome salary package.
You can enter it right after your 12(PCM) after completing 1 years pre-sea training as a deck cadet. After completing B.Sc.(Nautical Science) in the officer cadre which will lead you to become captain after 5-7 years of experiance. You can also join it directly after b.tech in marine engineering,or mechanical, electrical, electronics & telecommunication, naval architect.
Except marine engineering candidates others have to undergo a 10 months pre-sea training which is offered by many institute and port trusts or recruitingcompany itself. After that you will be appointed as a 5th or junior engineer. It will take you 5-7 years depending in your own abilities for becoming 'chief engineer'.

ETH zurich University, is one of the finest institution to pursue MS in Robotics systems and controls.
All the international students, whose first or native language is not English have take either TOEFL or IELTS to prove their English proficiency.
This course is taught in English, but since Switzerland is a non English speaking country, and German is widely spoken in Switzerland, so it would be always advisable to do some basic level German language course before leaving for Switzerland.

You've completed Flash, Maya etc
I would make 3 recommendation for product up-dation :
A. In flash , preferably you should have also completed Action Script 3.0
B. HTML5 is the latest version and much in demand, try to study and cover it.
C. Maya is good, but what do you specialize in ? lighting, modeling, dynamics, texture ?
Also what do you know in VFX ? FCP / Avid / Smoke / Shake / Fusion/ Moca / AE
These are IN-DEMAND Vfx tools right now.
As for getting job, if you are not living in the big 5 metros [Bangalore/Mumbai/ NCR / HYD/ Chennai] getting core animation jobs would be bit of a challenge, but nevertheless there are always small studios .

A. Make a 3-5 min demo reel, upload on web portals with personal accounts, update the same on your resume
