Yes, you can. First, you must understand one thing. There is a difference between getting selected in NEET for a Government seat and qualifying it. To get a government seat, and if you are a candidate, you have to score 550+ of 720. But, to qualify NEET, you have to score only 130 - 150, which you can do by studying Biology alone.

It is not necessary, but if you have, you get some advantage to showcase your experience to the others.
