Hi,
Msters in Finance would be a good enough course to get you a job. Permanent residence is never granted on the basis of the course you study, but is granted on the basis of how many years you have worked in that particular country.
You will be required to take the GMAT before applying for the masters in finance program as it is mandatory to take the GMAT. Target a score above 650 if you want admission in a good university. Make sure you apply to The University of Toronto as it is one of the best universities in Finance.
