On the basis of the credentials that you have in Carleton University. However, you would be required to take the GRE as well(provided you are not applying for chemical engineering). You would be required to score atleast 1200+ in GRE if you want admission in this university,

Dear Kaushal, The statement you heard is wrong Even a Fresher also gets job into >Net or in Java. but as a trainee. You will not be sent on programming without organization wide trainings.

As you have a B.A degree in English, you can choose various related career & get into fields like literature, writing, journalism etc. If you have interests in teaching or research field then you can opt for Masters in English and after that can appear for NET and get into lectureship. Apart from this as you are doing BCA after the completion of this degree you can look for options in computer programming or networking depending on your interests and career aspirations.

Your combination is good! If you focus in ur studies from right away you will be having wide range facility in coming future first of all try to clear ur XI and XIIth examination in good marks and side by side study for JEE or AIEEE, if ur really interested u can join courses of IIT, that would be better. As i have read all ur post in my view this would be suitable for u.Begin ur studies.
