Hi Binu,
You most definitely can do B.Ed and become an English Teacher but only uptill Higher Secondary level; if you are planning to become a lecturer then you need to opt for NET after completing your Masters degree.
I would like to add here that you should go for a full time B.Ed program as a good Distance program would require you to have 2-3 years of teaching experience which you dont have at this juncture.
