It depends, if the college/ university you are opting or want to opt for releases Merit list depending upon your class 12th marks. You can go for the improvement exam. Otherwise, there are other options. Nowadays, every university conducts an entrance exam. You may prepare for those exams and proceed further.

Yeah you can apply for next year . There is no limit in participating in CAT exam . You can give any number of attempts for CAT. Its good if you have work experience before doing a MBA.
