Yes, a BDS student in Karnataka can appear for COMEDK. Admissions are open to all the students across the country.
To be eligible, you need to fulfill the criteria mentioned below :
1)
General Merit Candidates should have passed 10+2 in Science stream. (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English). Candidates must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in PCB. Further must secure not less than 50% marks in PCB in the Common Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET-2012).

SC, ST and OBC Candidates of Karnataka must have obtained a minimum of 40% of marks taken together in PC

CAT test is taken by students who wish to pursue MBA from India. CAT scores are accepted by all the IIMs and various other B-schools in India.
GRE is a test which need to be taken by students who wish to pursue masters degree in science and engineering fields from universities abroad.
GRE score are accepted by universities in:
US.
Canada.
Germany, etc.
So, you need to first of all decide whether you wish pursue MBA form India or MS from abroad.

Work experience is not a mandatory criteria for getting admission in MS program, however, if you wish to pursue MBA from good universities in Canada, then you need to have atleast 3-4 years of full time work experience after graduation.
