Is it a good idea for science stream students (in class 12) to pursue BBA in under-graduation? Are they in a more advantageous or disadvantageous position when compared to commerce students.

If MBA is your ultimate goal then I would advice you yo go for streams like B.Com or B.A. (English). B.A. Involves cost and you will relearn the concepts in MBA. Why will you spend the extra penny. Rather you can invest that money in CAT coaching.

Well, from Science stream you can choose any of the stream you like that's because you will become enough competent to enter any field and as you asked about BBA I think it's really good if you have keen interest in commerce field and want to do something new.

BBA is a degree possible for students from any stream and students can use grade 12 subjects to their benefit while being placed. So you must be very good enough in maths which increases your career scope.

Shifting from Science to business may be a good option at times. Many students are seen to take a wrong decision of opting for Science but this is a good leap at times. I would suggest you to go for Doon Business School, Dehradun ranked 24th in India by India Today.

When you're stepping into Management stream, it does not actually matters a lot which background you belong to specially when it is a course like BBA. Scope of BBA will always be same like any other student I. e, MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain management, IB, IT and others. Enrollment in BBA cements your base as you are looking towards to shape career at Managerial level. Best wishes! :). .

Board the idea of choosing a graduation degree with limited number of seats available seems bizarre. BBA is a degree possible for students from any stream and students can use grade 12 subjects to their benefit while being placed. For instance, a student from biology will work well in management of a pharmaceutical company. Similarly, a student with strong mathematics can very well work with data analytics company after BBA.
