Scope of BBA programme for science students (Class XII)

Is it a good idea for science stream students (in class 12) to pursue BBA in under-graduation? Are they in a more advantageous or disadvantageous position when compared to commerce students.

With around 15 lakhs students appearing for board the idea of choosing a graduation degree with limited number of seats available seems bizarre. -BBA is a degree possible for students from any stream and students can use grade 12 subjects to their benefit while being placed. For instance, a student from biology will work well in management of a pharmaceutical company. Similarly, a student with strong mathematics can very well work with data analytics company after bba.

Well, I am a student of science, waiting for my +2 results. I've decided to take up the BBA course and pursue it. I've also done some research on it and I found there's neither any advantage nor any disadvantage for science students pursuing the BBA course. Its all the same for us !!

There is no extra advantage in bba for science student. You will get the same scope as a student frm any other streams. There is no disadvantage also. You are supposed to complete mba after completing bba. Get a good college. All the best. Thank you.

I thing science students have a little disadvantage as compared to commerce students. As they have to face subjects like accounts, statistics, tax laws etc for the very first time. It will take time to adopt but as they are science students they can do that easily I guess.

    Hi,
As per my experience science student can shine in every field bcz they have guts to think different and in starting they feel little bit difficulty but over the time they would perform better than the other students bcz they would have good analytical skills and understanding .In my knowledge there were 2 student who was average in science subject but one of them completed CA and LLB too.Another one is dng mba in finance. But tht situation would be different with the other sets of person's.

Better to Choose BCA or B.Tech as BBA will be a new subject for you and you need to study all the subjects again from Basic

    Hi,
No, BBA is not hard for anyone for any stream. Many students do another course in graduation like B.Tech, BCA etc. and then they do MBA. If you want to come in the Business Administrative field then you can go without any tension. BBA is related to Business Administrative i.e. managerial field. After doing MBA you will find the Managerial job in any company. Many students who do B.Tech do MBA because they work in the technical field and they want to come in the Managerial field in their company. If you have passed 10+2 then you can go for BBA and this stream is easy for you.

That's wrong thinking about the BBA course that science students will find difficulty.
If you are interested in business field , you can go for BBA .
In starting you will find it difficult in getting the subjects but after that it will be easy to understand them.
You can Shine more than the commerce students but you should be interested towards that course.
After that you can go for MBA , there you can rock the course.
