I suggest to go for higher study or at least any professional master degree after B com , because today there is so mu7ch competition and it is very difficult to find good job at the base of graduation degree. if any body get job at the base of graduation degree then they can not get good appraisal in their job they will have to go for any higher education in their current line. Knowledge should be good no-doubt but to give a professional look to career it is better to go for higher study

    aru.chopra thanks for inviting me
its totally depend upon the student and his / her mentality
    but according to me
    higher study is good because
1 ) the student will get higher knowledge about society , world , study n everything
2 ) if he/she go for job then he/she won't get that much enjoyment in his/her life
3 ) he / she won't become that much mature
4 ) and most disadvantage of doing job is , after one year of job , family start saying " ab shadi karo , get marry " :-P
so this is the big disadvantage

The B.Com programme provides a good base for a range of careers. These are broadly of two types — those related to business and finance such as chartered accountancy, company secretaryship, and cost and works accountancy (CWA), banking and so on, and the non-finance fields such as law, civil services, mass communication, hotel management and so on.

    Thanks MSK70515
Yes, but in my opinion students must get a better "Internship" provided by University/Institute so, they can earn valuable experience on the course period itself.
It can save their time and earn a Degree with better experience.
Else, sometimes after graduation student may not get that job experience which they have interest so they DO what they GET, hence it will create a meaningless experience for them.
So, its very necessary that our educational system has to be framed in such a way that students can earn good practical experience of what they learn.

    Thanks inviting me,
    Very good topic to discuss,
as said by aru ji B.Com. is one of the most famous degree of graduation in India .
To choose what to do next is purely a students choice,
as correctly stated by other experts he/she can either continue with a
POST GRADUATION DEGREE ( M.com, MBA, MA, MSC etc) OR DIPLOMA (PGDBM, PGDHRM, PGDBA ETC) of there choice
    OR
Most famous professional course for Commerce graduate such as
    CA, CS and ICWAI
choosing LLB (LAW) is also an option but
FINAL DECISION to go and upgrade oneself or get experienced is purely depend on student,
    both opens ample of opportunities.
