    In order to take admission in MBA, tests such as CAT/MAT/XAT are conducted. CAT Common Admission Test (especially conducted to take admission in IIM)
    MAT- Management Admission Test
    XAT- The test is to get admission into Xaviers Institute of Management.

    CAT is for the all over India's central government B-school entrance test. MAT is for the college under the AIMA and XAT for the Xavier's Institute of Management of different locations.

    These are all entrance exams to various MBA colleges. CAT is basically for the top colleges like IIMs while MAT is for the entry to various or all the B-Schools.

    Hello, These are MBA entrance exams which are necessary to get a call from good MBA institutes across INDIA. If one needs to take admission in some good premier B-School then he/she must crack these exams first.

    CAT is especially to get admissions in IIMS, but also used for other MBA colleges too. CAT is conducted by IIM. MAT is an MBA entrance examination for almost all MBA colleges, which is conducted by AIMA. XAT is to get admission into Xavier's Institute of Management of different locations and it is also some of the other MBA colleges.

    These are entrance exams conducted for MBA in IIM, AIMA and Xaviers institute of management, however these national level exams are also considered by other institutes as well.

For candidates pursuing MBA, the eligibility criteria includes merit and entrance based selection. Whereas, for BBA, candidates must qualify Class 12 with a minimum aggregate. JIIT CDOE MBA on the other hand, is offered based on the minimum aggregate of graduation.  However, for the final admission, candidates must meet the cutoff rank or score and must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as CAT.

Coaching interest such as TIME, IMS, Career Launcher, etc., usually have mock tests and sample papers for students. Educational YouTube channels  offer thought forums regarding past patterns. Almost all the sites discussed before offer free PDFs with question paper solutions to look over the previous years' papers. CAT is one of the accepting exams required for admission to PGDM programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with a valid score in any other accepted entrance exams such as MAT, XAT or CMAT can also get admission in PGDM. Selected aspirants also have to pass the case-based group discussion and a personal interview round for final admission.

The CUSAT CAT passing marks for the BTech exam is 10 marks in maths and 10 marks in physics and chemistry combined. However, Kerala SC and ST candidates do not have a minimum passing mark.
