What are CAT, MAT and XAT exams for?

All the three are Common Entrance Examination for admission to Business Schools in India and Abroad too. CAT (Common Admission Test) is conducted by IIMS, and is the most reputed exam in the country. It's scores are acceptable by all leading B-Schools including FMS, S. P. Jain, MDI.
MAT is conducted by AIMA. It is aimed for admission to low profile colleges in India. XAT (Xavier's Aptitude Test) is conducted by XLRI-Jamshedpur and it's scores are acceptable by some leading B-Schools like XLRI-Jamshedpur, XIM-Bhubaneswar, S. P Jain Mumbai, GIM Goa. -
These are all management entrance exams.

CAT, MAT, and XAT are the national level management entrance exams. You need to qualify any one of these exams to get admission in a good B-school for pursuing MBA. To appear for these entrance exams, you need to have a Bachelor's degree from any of the recognised universities with more than 50 percent marks. -
