What are Civil Engineering courses all about?

<p><strong>The design, construction, and maintenance of the physically-built and naturally-made environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, building structural elements, and trains, fall under the broad category of Civil Engineering field</strong>. To address potential issues and build secure and effective structures, civil engineers use their expertise in Maths, Science, Computers, and Engineering. They work on many different types of projects, ranging from little bridges to enormous buildings.<br>So as the way of thinking changes, universities are bringing up a new generation of civil engineers who can meet the challenges of the environment initially. <strong>This involves incorporating sustainable practices (utilizing green building materials and energy-efficient designs) in order to minimize the environmental impact of a building construction.</strong> It is also highlighting issues relating to the environment, at its very core is ensuring that construction projects have as little impact on the environment as possible.<br>Our world is actually built on the accomplishments of this field. <strong>Building shelters to protect oneself from the weather and using tree trunks as makeshift bridges to cross rivers in the past, everything falls under the umbrella of the Civil Engg. discipline. Our ancestors did not indulge in any such calculations, but they were basically using the principles of Civil Engineering courses to find solutions to their problems.</strong></p>
