Apartments are generally bigger than hostel rooms. Lovely Professional University is having the largest Residential Facility and options to fit everyone budget and need right from One Seater AC Rooms to 16-Seater Dormitory. The fee generally varies with the room/facilities opted by the student. Good luck.

Hi, The basic facilities remain the same for apartments and hostels. For instance, Study Room, TV Room, Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, etc. In hostel, you can opt for Aircooler or AC room but apartments are AC. The apartment rooms are more spacious and have a separate kitchen area. There is a little bit of price difference between apartment and hostel as apartments are more furnished. Thanks.

Hi there, In a hostel, you can opt for either Air Cooler or Air Conditioner. And, there will be an Iron B.Ed in hostel rooms. But in apartments, you will have the Air Conditioner only and there will be a wooden box B.Ed. Apartments are more spacious and cleaner. Apartments are costlier than hostels. Hope this helps
    good luck.

The only difference between LPU hostel and apartments is charges as well some extra facilities like in apartment you can make food by yourself and in apartments, they provide two room separately in that you can use one for bedroom and another for study purpose. Even the hostel is better than apartments.

Dear Abhay, This totally depends upon your choice. In case you want to share your room with 3,4,5,6 or even 8 other members you can opt for hostels. You get good food facility such as hostel mess that you can opt yearly or half yearly. Other than that, you get to enjoy peaceful environment, as hostel have their separate parks, gardens. For fitness freaks are provided with open gym facility, running tracks and basketball courts. There are various tuck shops provided where you can get your daily need items. Also in apartments, you are facilitated with laundry system, mess food, apartments can accommodate maximum up to 4 students in a sin

Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the NEST counselling is mainly done online, which is super convenient for us students anywhere in India. You just log in after your results, pick your preferred courses and seats based on your rank, and lock it all in digitally—no need to travel right away.
It's got this smooth flow: download your scorecard, fill choices online, get seat allotment via merit, pay the initial fee (like INR20,000) through net banking or UPI, then submit docs later. LPU makes it flexible too, letting you pay offline at campus if you prefer, but the core process stays online for quick access.

Yeah, LPU totally releases the LPU NEST counselling dates on their official site—it's super organized and student-friendly. For 2026, they've got it starting February 8th onwards for B.Tech, with online seat preferences from Feb 8-10, results on 12th, and admissions up to late Feb. Results drop quick, like within 24-48 hours post-exam, so you can jump right into counselling without waiting forever.
It's all online mostly, through nest.lpu.in, where you update choices and get allotments based on your score—makes it easy from anywhere. No offline hassle unless you want campus visits for fees. LPU keeps everything updated live, way

Yes, it is actually very much required to bring along Class 10 and 12 certificates or at least mark sheets during the LPU NEST counseling, primarily because the university explicitly would wish to establish the age of applicants from the Class 10 marksheet and verify eligibility with the Class 12 certificate/marksheet before confirming admission and awarding a scholarship.

at LPU NEST counselling, you would have to check the result & rank, fill and lock online course/seat preferences, get the allotment of the seat based on the rank and choices, pay to secure the seat by paying the initial fee, and go on to upload/verify documents and pay the remaining fee within the stipulated time for final admission.
