What is the difference between Apartment and hostel in LPU? Is Apartment better than hostel rooms in LPU?

Dear Abhay, Both Apartments and Hostels are good at LPU. Lovely Professional University has the largest Residential Facility in India for its students coming from all over India and abroad. Several options to fit your budget and need right are on offer: Right from One Seater AC apartments in many avatars to shared AC rooms to shared Rooms with coolers etc. To Dormitory. The fee for all options is different and depends upon the room/facilities opted by the student. It depends on the requirements like Privacy, budget, location and facilities for a student to decide whether they would be more comfortable in an Apartment or a Hostel as an accommodation. While each of the different options have their benefits. Based on your requirements a student has to pay for the accommodation. LPU residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organised and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. Hostel residents are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, mobile charger, shaving set, trimmer, hair straightener and hair dryer. Basic essentials are already provided to students as per seater like table, chair, almirah, etc. LPU Hostels always provide reasonably good value for money. You also have the chance to meet a lot of other international students or students from 29 different states because Hostels are generally well known as being social. A hosteler does not have the facility of pantry, LPU provides the facility of mess for them. Apartments can feel like a home away from home when you are stepping outside your comfort zone. Having a homely base to come back to each day makes a huge difference to happiness. Kitchen facilities are given in apartments and allow students to cook with ingredients picked up from local markets. For apartment rooms with pantry, students may also use induction plate for cooking food in addition to gadgets mentioned for hostels. Apartments are costly in comparison to hostels as more facilities are given to apartment holders. So it is on you that what would you like more. Based on that you can book a hostel or an apartment shared or individual.

Hello! Apartments are more organised and provide more privacy where as hostels have their own benefits. Both are good. Free Wi-Fi, hygienic and nutritious vegetarian meals, 24 hours security,24 hours power, proximity and access to academic resources like library, classrooms, labs etc. To make the stay of the students a pleasant one they are constantly involved by organizing various celebrations, events and activities likes cultural activities, sports, debates and declamations. Various competitions are organized where students from different hostels compete with each other. Apart from this, various clubs and forums work inside the hostels providing the students opportunities to develop certain skills in their fields of interest and inculcating in them a sense of regular practice and discipline. This totally depends upon your choice. In case you want to share your room with 3,4,5,6 or even 8 other members you can opt for hostels. You get good food facility such as hostel mess that you can opt yearly or half yearly. Other than that, you get to enjoy peaceful environment, as hostel have their separate parks, gardens. For fitness freaks are provided with open gym facility, running tracks and basketball courts. There are various tuck shops provided where you can get your daily need items. Also in apartments, you are facilitated with laundry system, mess food, apartments can accommodate maximum up to 4 students in a single room. You get your own kitchen to cook food s well, which is not provided in hostels. Facilities in apartments are almost same as that in hostels. So, you can opt for any one you want. All the Best. !

There are certain points that you should consider before coming on any decision. Well in my opinion and as per my brother experience at LPU premises both facilities are highly maintained, clean and lively. 1. You have no option but to eat the food within in mess only if you opt for a hostel. While in an apartment you can either opt for a tiffin service or cook yourself. Food is the basic need and all of us want it to be the BEST! 2. If you are reserved and very personal about your belongings you can go for an apartment otherwise the hostel will be a good place. 3If you want a spacious room then go for apartments definitely. More space is always an added benefit. On the other hand, if you can adjust in a room with a defined space and not fond of cooking your own then go for hostels. 4. If you are concerned financially then go for hostels only as apartment charges are more than hostels and available with AC facilities only. Choice is yours. Hope the above information helps.

Cheaper because you rent a bed instead of a room. More social because you sleep in the same room as others and because of good social facilities to meet other travelers.</p>
