    Mass media is the collection of the means that big media outlets use to distribute their media content, so basically the different types of mass media, e.g. television broadcasting, print newspaper, radio broadcasting and so on.
    Mass communication is the study of how these types work. It is about how radio or TV stations communicate their content with the consumer.

    Mass media refers to a diverse array of media technologies that reach a large audience via mass communication. The technologies through which this communication takes place include a variety of outlets. Broadcast media transmit information electronically via media such as films, radio, recorded music, or television.

    Mass communication is the process of imparting and exchanging information through mass media to large segments of the population. It is usually understood for relating to various forms of media, as these technologies are used for the dissemination of information, of which journalism and advertising are part.
