    There are plenty of government as well as private sector jobs available for B.Sc Agriculture graduates. They can be appointed as Research Officer, Quality Assurance Officer, Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Loan Officer (in Banks), Production Manager, Operations Manager and Farm Manager with State agriculture departments.

    B.Sc. In Agriculture is a broad-based course with great potential. It deals with things like food production, horticulture, animal rearing, rural economy and rural development, environmental health, etc. Other industries may face downsizing but agriculture can never fall prey because food is the basic necessity for life.     Dear Arpit, Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. For B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture. There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector.     B.Sc Agriculture is a good course with good placement opportunities, as you can be employed by any private or government firm, or you can start your own work or even you can start your career as a lecturer by pursuing M.Sc in agriculture. There are a lot of government opportunities available for the B.Sc in agriculture graduates. So, it has very good scope.

    There is plenty of government as well as private-sector jobs available for B.Sc. Agriculture graduates. LPU is the first private University in India that is approved by ICAR. The university has well-equipped Laboratories, Library, lecture rooms, and an excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments.
