Visual FX has a very good prospect in post production studios working on entertainment applications like movies. Companies like PRIME FOCUS, RELIANCE MEDIA WORLD, PIXION etc. Are doing great work in these areas. No one could guarantee you a job but yourself by developing your skills to match the expectations of industry. Industry is currently looking for skills on software like Boujou, Mocha, Fusion, Aftereffects, Combustion, Nuke, Photoshop etc. The pint is to get trained at a good university like LPU.

    Hi Jatin,
Basically, India is a media and entertainment savvy nation and is also produces the highest number of feature films in the world with over 1000 films every year. For a film like Bahubali, it took two years to complete the VFX with over 600 artists working on it. So, you can imagine the number of people required and the volume of work which needs to be done from time to time. I am just talking about films. If you take the volume of work in Television and advertising, it just becomes much higher. Gaming and VFX is tot

    Dear Jatin
If you take up VFX, it would be better if you do it after learning animation, otherwise you'd be stuck in a Rotoscopy job for lifetime. Also, it would be helpful, if you're good with dynamics, or matte painting, since those would offer you areas for growth.
