If you got better skills and marks than any other student in your college or if your graduation result is superbly good, your starting package will be from INR 8.2 Lacs per annum. For average student, it will be about INR 4. 6lakh/annum. Factors, going to affect your placement, are your college reputation, college ranking, past placement records and your talking skills during interview.

Starting salary would range between 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Also, it entirely depends on your skills, hard work and experience.

University and college doesn't decide your salary. It depends on your skills that you have developed.

Income is 25,000 per month. Setup a budget for him for the given salary. Include rent, gas, food utilities, medical expenditure, recreation, clothing, children expectation, etc.

Average CTC is about 10-12 LPA, the highest around 18-19 LPA (Goldman Sachs, Walmart, P&G, etc.)
The placement cell works really hard to make sure that everyone who is eligible for placement gets atleast one.

It depends on the college that you graduate and also your knowledge, it may happen that you graduate from good college but you did not study hard, when it comes to placement they will test you if you don't have that knowledge you will lose that offer. Suppose you are from Sharda University the salary can go up to Rs. 7-10 Lacs, Economics honors from top 10 colleges can fetch you a salary on average of Rs. 6 Lacs per annum. Rest of the colleges would get you the average of Rs. 20-25 thousand.
