    I do not know about other colleges but I can surely give you the idea about LPU. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. Qualifying the Eligibility criteria you can join the programme. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU. LPU focuses on the overall growth of the students.     The IITs and NITs to start with. Then there are some good IIITs as well followed by GFTIs and of course the private colleges. You should compare colleges before taking the decision of enrolling in any college.
