Which books should I refer to get top 100 rank in BITSAT?

Cracking BITSAT isn't about the books you use. It is more about clarity of concepts and lots of problem solving and an excellent time management. If you have prepared rigorously for JEE then you won't need any extra book for BITSAT. Rather I would suggest giving lots of mock tests. Make sure you are thorough with all the formulas and general solution for simple cases as it can save a lot of time in exam. The main point is timed practice and lots of revision. Apart from that take a look at previous year’s papers. There are some books available in market for mock tests but buy only from trusted publishers. Have confidence before going to exam or your entire preparation will be of no use in the end.

BITS-Pilani is one of the reputed and most famous colleges among engineering aspirants. By maintaining the brand of BITS Pilani exam conducted by this college is really challenging student have to score more than average marks to get into this college so good preparation really is needed to score such a good marks to get into this college. Many questions are from NCERT books and exemplar books of physics, chemistry, math. These questions are to the point and simple. So if somebody knows the key points of the chapter, they will surely get good marks. Also, in this exam, speed really matters because in 3 hours you have to solve 150 problems and have to score above 400. Arihant publishes a book named BITSAT in which all the previous year's questions and the guess questions are there, this book is also good. NCERT book with some reference to side book maybe at the time of solving problems and Arihant BITSAT book along with previous year's question bank is enough to get such a good score and rank in BITSAT exam.

BITSAT is one of the most prestigious exams conducted in the India by BITS University. It is an entrance exam necessary to get admission into the BITS. BITSAT is of total 450 marks in which it is divided into 4 sections which are mathematics, physics, chemistry, English and logical proficiency. There is total of 150 questions and each section gets 35 questions. Marking scheme in BITSAT exam is +3 for correct answers and minus (-) 1 for the wrong answers. Level of BITSAT is moderate and it is easier then JEE exams. But the thing in BITSAT is that you get around 3 minutes per question which is very less until you have complete control over your speed and accuracy of the answers. Books needed to ace this exam are as follows Mathematics, first of all, you should have complete command over your basics and should have completed all the questions from NCERT 11th and 12th book and RD Sharma objective questions for IIT is the best book to prepare for BITSAT mathematics. Chemistry: NCERT 11th and 12th book and Cengage materials on physical chemistry and organic chemistry are the best. Physics can be done from HC Verma volume 1 and 2. English and logical proficiency questions based on your general IQ and English questions come from the English of 11th and 12th NCERT book. Hello, BITSAT - Birla Institute of technology and science admission test is a national level exam for admission into the undergraduate courses for b. Tech and B.Pharma in the campuses of Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa. The questions are from PCM /PCB (for b. Pharm alone) along with English proficiency and logical reasoning. The overall marks of the exam is 450 Total number of questions is 150 and you will get +3 for correct answers while - 1 for wrong answers. If you have completed the exam with the specified time (3 hours) you can attempt 12 bonus questions which will be of same Weightage. Then coming to preparation, it is not that tough as compared to JEE but you will have English and logical reasoning additionally. You need more speed and accuracy in solving problems as you need to race against time. So more practice is needed. 1) You may refer to the books like ARIHANT comprehensive BITSAT book which includes everything about BITSAT along with a CD with mock tests. You can practice the mock tests and the exercises in that book. 2) For English and logical reasoning, in addition to that book you can refer Disha publications also. 3) Subject wise: For physics - concepts of physics by HC Verma volumes 1&2 For chemistry - P. Bahadur and O. P. Tandon For maths - R. D. Sharma and NCERT books also. Focus and practice more. If you have more practice then you can easily score above 400 so that your rank will be higher.
